A player would be hard pressed to find another tremolo harmonica of comparable quality with the Weekender’s affordable price! Has 24 double holes with plastic body.

The double row of holes on Tremolo Harmonicas creates music with a distinctive vibrating (vibrato) effect. This is produced by the bottom row of holes and the top row of holes being played at the same time and tuned to the same note, with the top row tuned just slightly higher. This special tuning enables the player to make the tremolo sound which is especially popular for ballads, gospel and folk music.

Comments about Hohner Weekender Tremolo Harmonica (Key of C):

This is a sweet sounding harp for the money. Plays well, has a natural tremelo sound built in. 12 hole diatonic with 48 reeds. This harp hits a few extra notes that the 10 hole diatonics will not hit. Nothing against the 10 hole diatonics as they have there place too.

Comments about Hohner Weekender Tremolo Harmonica (Key of C):

I wanted to try out a tremolo harmonica, and this was inexpensive. Lesson learned, not very good. When I can justify a better tremolo, I will buy one of Hohner's better, German-made instruments.

Comments about Hohner Weekender Tremolo Harmonica (Key of C):

What a great value. Very large range of notes that most harmonicas do not come close to reaching. Only comes in C, but great harp to carry around with you. I have bought harps that cost much more than this, but always come back to this one.
