With a B footjoint, silver headjoint and body, the 3SB offers specifications many teachers recommend as the ideal step-up flute for advancing musicians.

The Gemeinhardt 3SB flutes have been a favorite option as a step-up solid silver flute for years.  This newest edition of the 3SB line features an NG1 headjoint (a $700 value!), which offers great ease of response and articulation accompanied by an uncompromising ability to create the sound, tone, and colors you desire.  This professionally designed headjoint features a modified lip-plate and riser that allow for even beginning-level players to get a crisp, clear sound.

The flute can be ordered with either an inline or offset G key depending on the player's preferences, and includes a leather case and cover with the outfit.

Comments about Gemeinhardt 3SB Solid Silver Flute with NG1 Headjoint (Inline/Offset options):

I have been playing flute for 14 years and this flute has been a dream to play! It has a beautiful sound and has great key action. I have been a huge fan of Gemeinhardt flutes for a long time, and with the new generation 3SB, they have topped themselves. It is great for an intermediate player. It also has a new curve in the lip plate with helps with intonation and response.
