The new Jiggs Whigham pBone plastic trombone brings a fun and intriguing twist to the traditional trombone. With it's plastic construction, this lightweight instrument sounds remarkably like typical brass trombones. Ideal for marching bands, these high quality plastic instruments are unaffected by weather and will not suffer intonation problems in extreme temperatures like traditional brass intstruments.

These pBone plastic trombones can be used with either traditional oil lubricants, or plain water; a spray bottle application works well on maintaining quick and smooth slide action. Easily washable with just soap and warm water, this durable finish will hold up without fail. This trombone outfit is equiped with a case and matching plastic mouthpiece.

These instruments do not have a manufacturers or Sam Ash limited warranty and are non refundable due to defects in materials or craftsmanship

Comments about pBone Jiggs Whigham Plastic Trombone (Assorted Colors):

Returned because loose fitting tuning slide fell and cracked when hitting ground. Great color that doesn't wear off or dent but may crack so be careful.

I exchanged for the Jean Baptise model that is a little better made and comes with a super nice case, stand, cleaning tools, rubber rest on tip of slide, and two plastic mouthpieces for about the same price as the Jiggs.

Sam Ash Cincinnati carried both at time of purchase in 2013

Comments about pBone Jiggs Whigham Plastic Trombone (Assorted Colors):

This trombone plays great! It doesn't dent, or change pitch with temperature changes. I would recommend buying a metal mouthpiece like any othe trombone. Doesn't need slide lubrication...just wipe it off! Too cool!
