A step-up plastic mouthpiece for the advancing player!

Premiere mouthpieces are popular as step-up mouthpieces for the progressing, budget-minded student player. They offer the quality of a hard rubber mouthpiece without the high price. Made from plastic, they are flexible, deliver a rich sound, and they feature a durable bite pad to control teeth wear.

These reed-friendly mouthpieces are easy to play and free blowing, making them ideal for players with developing embouchures. The comfort of the bite pad also assists with developing embouchures.

Capable of producing a wide range of tonal colors, these versatile mouthpieces will suit a variety of musical styles. Each mouthpiece is hand-faced and finished, and individually play tested to assure the highest quality.

Facing: Medium length, .069-inch tip (comparable to a C** facing).

Comments about J & D Hite David Hite Premier Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece:

thats really all i can say. My band teacher had each student switch over to at least a premier, and our bands sound much better. It fixes your embouchure right away, so it takes awhile to get used to playing that way. The sound is much richer, it wasn't as bright and it sounded pure, nothing made the sound rumbly. It is also eater to play with one you get used to it. the tooth guard keeps the mouthpiece from sliding around inside your mouth, which also makes it easier.

BOTTOM LINE-LOVED IT!
