Comments about Buffet 400 Series Professional Alto Saxophone in (Lacquer):

we use in symphonic band and jazz groups, responds very fast and the sound is warm, the keys are ergonomic and very easy to handle, the high notes are very refined, in addition to its construction is very strong and very metal harmonics ago large and warm, you could say that is a sax designed and manufactured for many years, despite being a new member of the family buffet. 100% recommendedr

    Great Sax

Comments about Buffet 400 Series Professional Alto Saxophone in (Lacquer):

I've been playing sax in school for about 6 years, and decided I needed an upgrade. I've had the sax for about 6 months now, and I'm very happy with it (I didn't get it from this site, though, so I can't say anything about service). I have the lacquer finish, and its beautiful. Engraving on every key, the neck, the body. The sound generally comes out of the sax very well (sometimes the high A sounds odd though). I still have trouble with some of the lowest notes, but I believe that to be my fault, not the horn's. The high notes are VERY easy to get out, I've been able to get into my altissimo range for the first time. The tuning is better than many of the saxes. The D is sharp, but not as bad as other saxes I've heard. Some of the lower notes (once you get past a E) can go flat, but other than that no major problems. It plays well both for a concert band and for jazz.
