Great feel and sound

Comments about Yamaha APX500III Thin-line Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I am a huge fan of Yamaha's APX Thinline series. The body shape has always felt very comfortable and once you plug into an amp you get a surprisingly good sound for the price you pay. Comes into different colors like red, blue, and the classic sunburst so you have the ability to add a new layer of uniqueness to your guitar.

Perfect neck, and chords sound great!

Comments about Yamaha APX500III Thin-line Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I like to create chord voicings with triads which would often buzz out on my old guitar. I had no such trouble with the Yamaha. Even when my fingers ended up well away from the fret (NOT ideal!) chords rang full and true. The biggest surprise was the neck--it is a satin finish that felt so great, like it was already worn in.

thin line Yamaha

Comments about Yamaha APX500III Thin-line Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

While I tend to prefer a dreadnought, the thin lines are great. They feel nice while playing and have a balanced tone about them. It's acoustic electric and also sounds great when plugged in an amp or PA system. Yamaha makes some great products (everything from motorcycles, drum kits and guitars) and none of it is bad. It is all good quality in my opinion even the starter pack acoustics play better than other brands that may be a little more. GREAT beginner AE...holds a tune and is durable and sounds great. Also good for keeping around to have a little fun with.

Comments about Yamaha APX500III Thin-line Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I am learning to play a little bachata guitar, and this guitar is pretty nice! Clean sound, good quality. Strings are a little twangy, but not too bad for such a good price.

        Comments about Yamaha APX500III Thin-line Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Yamaha's APX500III thinline acoustic-electric guitar is an acoustic guitar made for the electric guitarist, its System55T electronics employ a piezo pickup system to capture every sonic dimension of your playing. This guitar boasts a spruce-topped body with nato back and sides, 22 frets over a smooth rosewood fingerboard, They use Nato to provide you the sustain you want when you need it while providing just enough body for a warm and well-balanced sound. One feature that sets this baby apart from other acoustic-electric guitars is its control over the critical midrange. Just below the three-band EQ controls is a midrange frequency fader, giving you access to boost or cut the middle frequencies of your playing and help the guitar cut through.

          Comments about Yamaha APX500III Thin-line Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar really is a great beginner guitar. It looks great, and it's slim, and a smaller profile, so small arms can easily reach around it.
