The Perception 220 is a large-diaphragm microphone designed for a variety of studio applications, yet is rugged enough to use on stage too. The Perception 220’s true-condenser capsule features a cardioid pattern that minimizes off-axis pickup and delivers beautifully-balanced response. The sound is warm and clear with an unmistakable presence that brings out the best in instruments or voices.

The Perception 220 features a switchable bass cut filter to minimize boominess and proximity, and a 20-dB attenuation switch for use in high SPL fields. The microphone features rock-solid construction quality with a heavy-duty chassis, stainless steel, dent-resistant grille screen to protect the capsule and a gold-plated XLR-type output. The Perception 220 comes with a metal screw-on spider-type shock mount, extra band and a metal carrying case.
