PRS brings its renowned quality, tone and craftmanship to the SE series with high-performance single cutaway acoustic electric. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today for the guaranteed lowest price and fast, free shipping.

The PRS SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric guitar is first and foremost a player’s guitar. Starting with a solid spruce top paired with Paul Reed Smith’s  X-bracing and accompanied by Mahogany sides and back, the SE Angelus is patterned after a small jumbo body shape, reminiscent of classic guitars of decades past. The cutaway design allows players to reach the upper register notes when you’re reaching for a little extra during a solo. Whether playing at home or onstage, the SE Angelus projects a warm, powerful and balanced tone that is perfect in any setting.

The neck is carved from mahogany into a luxurious “wide fat” profile with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard and the familiar PRS bird inlays as standard appointments. For live performances, the SE Angelus is driven by the easy to operate PRS designed pickup system, with an under-saddle design with three bands of EQ and an anti-feedback loop. You will be able shape your amplified tone through any sound system, while delivering classic, lush acoustic tones to your audience. Additional high-grade features include a PRS designed rosewood bridge, a beautiful inlaid rosewood rosette and PRS SE tuners. Finally, a Deluxe PRS Hardshell Case is included.

"The SE Angelus models are the newest additions to the SE product family, which has matured into a comprehensive line of electric and acoustic guitars as well as amplifiers. The addition of an optional pickup system on the SE acoustics makes the line even more complete. My hope is that all of our SE products become tools for making music and sources of joy," said Paul Reed Smith.

Comments about Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar totally impressed me with the first chord I strummed. With a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back, the PRS Angelus has an outrageously warm, yet clear tone. The build quality is only what one would expect from Paul Reed Smith. With the traditional bird inlays the guitar sets itself apart in appearance from other acoustic. HSC included, so you're fully protected right out the box. The best part, the feel. This guitar feels so comfortable in my hands, I don't want to put it down. A great buy at a great price.

PRS brings you another great guitar in this Acoustic electric cutaway. Solid spruce top offers you an amazing tone while the mahogany back and sides provide the sustain and warmth. Comments about Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

For decades, PRS has been making electric guitars that straddle the Gibson Les Paul/Fender Stratocaster line. Because of their reputation for making A level guitars, they can charge A level prices. When it comes to acoustics, however, they haven't yet solidified their place among the Martins and Taylors of the world. As a result, you can get this guitar for about 1/2 what it should cost, and rest assured, as PRS acoustics start to dominate, this guitar will only go up in value.

Great for all types of acoustic playing , The PRS Angelus is a great playing comfortable instrument that will be a delight to add to your current guitarsenal. The on-board electronics are warm and natural sounding. Played acoustically, the Sitka Spruce and Mahogany projects a tone found on instruments twice the price.

Comments about Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The quality and playability that have made PRS guitars famous and highly sought after for years in an affordable price range. The SE Angelus features a solid Sitka Spruce top for clear crisp top end tone with good volume and a solid Mahogany back for warm but well balanced mid range and bottom end. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge are solid and great for transferring tone and resonance to the sound board. Bone saddle and nut help the guitar stay in tune, but also add extra sustain and tone. An awesome guitar for the price! This is a real hands on product review by Sean@ Sam Ash Ontario.

The SE line from PRS has always been known as a great value on a great product, the SE Angelus Acoustic only helps to reaffirm that.
Features all solid woods, top notch electronics and the 'flying bird' inlays for stunning looks.
You would be hard pressed to find an all solid wood acoustic/electric, of this quality, anywhere near this price range.
Comes with a hard shell case as well.

When I was first handed this guitar I played it for hours, the neck is comfortable, the playability consistent, and the sound is amazing. For the price it is near impossible to find such a great guitar with all the features. Solid top, solid back, solid sides, and a hardshell case! PRS is synonymous with quality and this guitar is no exception.

PRS has only recently dove into the acoustic market, but they have done so with quite a bit of grace. I like to compare them most to Seagull guitars in that they are both a very affordable guitars that feature solid woods and are well built.
