Comments about Flightform Case for 5-String Banjo:

How to rate this? It isn't the best, plush-lined form-fitted hardshell case, but doesn't pretend to be, and is priced accordingly. Do you rate a Versa a 1 because it isn't an Escalade?

It is exactly as described: chipboard (light cardboard), black pebble finish, three metal clasps, riveted-on handle, storage space under the neck, no exposed metal on the inside. It works for storing an instrument at home and keeping dust & spills off it, and light travel where nothing will be hitting it or falling on it. Don't throw this in the back of a van between the amp and drum kit and drive on gravel roads.

This is exactly what I was looking for (and having a hard time finding!), at a reasonable price. Didn't see the point in buying a hardshell case that cost more than my old instrument was worth.

The person who gave it a 1 apparently wanted a hardshell case, which this doesn't pretend to be. Thanks, Sam Ash, for offering a choice of price points for different needs.

Comments about Flightform Case for 5-String Banjo:

Do not buy! I am paying shipping charges on this twice in order to buy a better case than this one. It is not a bargain - just cheap.
