Comments about Ahead OGIO Engineered Hardware Sled:

This thing is a beast! It's built very strong. The bag is supported by the back plate which is a thick piece of plastic. This piece of plastic has two ridges that make it easier to slide down stairs. The wheels are very sturdy unlike most, which of whom have them sticking wayy out coming off of a skinny axel. It may be more expensive than most, but it's totally worth the money. It's got a little pocket in the inside for a drumstick bag and like a cowbell too. Also, there are straps in there that secure your hardware. I like the retractable handle too. Don't look anywhere else for a hardware bag, I'm telling you!

Comments about Ahead OGIO Engineered Hardware Sled:

When I read about this bag I was downright psyched because for the most part it had many of the features I'd been waiting for for years. It's a hybrid soft/hard case, with the hard in all the right places. Because the bottom is hard, it will slide up and down stairs, and the plastic is totally solid. the telescoping handle is excellent and overall I love it.

The one bummer: A week after I got it the fabric at the top started separating from the plastic housing. i contacted the distributor and ultimately was sent and email with details about how to take it apart and fix it myself. Not cool. it was 190 bux, they should have offered a new one. I did fix it, but it's coming apart again. Pretty major flaw.

Nonetheless I use this thing 4 nights a week and everything else about it is holding up nicely.
