With Ableton Push you can now quickly and effeciently create songs and beats like never before. Get it with free shipping and the guaranteed lowest price at Sam Ash Direct.

Ableton Live has been one of the most popular recording for years. Now, with the aid of Akai Professional, Ableton has a complete hardware control solution that provides users with multiple ways to create music. Push combines 64 touch-velocity sensitive pads, rotary encoders and a touch slider so users can step sequence, play and navigate their loops, all in real-time.

Choose among a comprehensive collection of instruments and effects to be tweaked and personalized. Fine tune all the parameters with the provided touch-sensitive encoders. Even find new ways to play notes and chords in different keys by a simple touch of a button. Think of condensing a whole piano into the 64 pads. Better yet, this can all be captured in real-time so your creative workflow is never interrupted. “Push” and play with your musical ideas to find different variations and improvisations combining alternate song material instantly.

Don’t worry about missing any inspired “happy accidents”. When you’re ready to put on the final touches, merely switch over to your computer and edit, mix, arrange and export your music that’s already been laid out for you in Ableton Live.

    Comments about Ableton Push Controller:

Being an Ableton user for years I wanted a more all around controller for my producing. The Push was the one to get. Once you start a song you don't have to even look at your computer to add more drums, instruments or effects. The pads are velocity sensitive. The knobs are touch sensitive. When you load a drum set you have access to the sequencer for inputing your beat. The drum pads where your drum samples are located to trigger. The number of measures that you are working with. Then when an instrument is loaded you can play Push like a piano or set it in a mode that puts it in scale mode where notes not in the selected scale are removed. So easy to make melodies and grooves without having to go to the computer every step.

        Comments about Ableton Push Controller:

Ableton along with Akai changed the way ableton can be used in a live setting with this controller. Almost every setting in the program can be accessed on the controller without having to look at your computer. This controller functions in both a studio aspect and live shows. A single performing musician can now use an ableton session that was pre arranged to launch clips and loops on the fly while still playing another instrument. If you are an avid user of ableton you need this controller.

          Comments about Ableton Push Controller:

It is definitely the only midi controller you will need if you use Ableton for your production or live performances.

I've been using Ableton for the last 2 years pretty much every single day on my music production and engineering and I always wanted to have a controller especially for production and composition part of my workflow.

All the other controllers that are out there such as AKAI APC40 etc are great controllers but they were always advertised more on the performance part which I don't really use ableton as a DJing software.

Ableton Push will pretty much everything mapped already with the software. It will allow you to control everything inside Ableton with the controller, from midi effects to transposing audio, writing melodies to creating beats.

It will make you stare less on the screen and more on the controller itself writing music.

It is definitely a workflow helper, it will reduce the time you spend on making music drastically.

I definitely recommend this product to anyone who uses Ableton as their primary DAW and composition tool.

          Comments about Ableton Push Controller:

Push combines with the already impressive Ableton Live 9 software to create a flexible, intuitive, hardware-focused system for music production. It's also a powerful drum machine, with a user-friendly step sequencer and a number of features inherited from Akai's classic MPC samplers. But what really sets Push apart from the multitude of other MIDI controllers on the market is the unique Scale Mode, which allows users to play virtual instruments (or hardware synths) from the grid of 64 pads.

As a guitar player, I first picked up Push because playing notes on it felt more natural to me than using a keyboard. But since the grid can be configured into virtually any scale in the world, I quickly found myself experimenting with international scales and coming up with melodies and chord progressions that I would never have found on any other instrument.

The pads are sensitive to velocity and pressure, and the built-in Note Repeat feature lets you create fluid drum rolls and stutters. The knobs are smooth and responsive, and can be used to control effects or Live's mixer. These days, I use Push mainly to control my hardware rig (Moog Sub Phatty, Korg Volca Beats and Keys) - and to play virtual instruments from Native Instruments Komplete.

Overall, Push is one of the best production systems you can buy - and a completely innovative musical instrument in its own right.

          Comments about Ableton Push Controller:

The PUSH controller is a quite the game changer for Ableton control. This is meant to get you away from the mouse and computer and facilitate your navigation and functions in the DAW with something you can feel. The pads feel great and are highly sensitive to pressure and velocity. The step sequencing is great, you can automate, edit and launch all on the fly. There is also chord and scale set ups for playing keyboard/synth lines.
