One of my favorite guitars that I have owned in the past, the sound quality was surprising! I wouldn't have thought that a guitar in the $200 price range would sound as good as it does! Solid spruce top, comfortable neck and good tuning machines. A great value! I'm a staff reviewer at Sam Ash Music.

Comments about Marcinkiewicz Chuck Findley Trumpet Mouthpiece (E13):

A great solid top guitar for any budget. Yamaha pays great attention to detail with their construction process and this definitely shows. It plays great and with the matte neck its actually smoother than any gloss finished neck. It's a best-seller for my customers and never disappoints:)! Makes a great gift and great at home guitar.

I'm a 40 yr player... 10 in music retail. This piece with solid top, rosewood board, nato back & sides is great- without having to add the tagline "for the money". I have sold hundreds of this model, not only to beginners who won't have to come back & trade up as their playing progresses, but also to people who don't want to take their $2000-$5000 high end instrument fishing, camping, or just travel to regions of less temperate climate. The sound & playability are on par with instruments at more than twice the price. A real winner! Sam Ash Sales Assoc

Comments about Marcinkiewicz Chuck Findley Trumpet Mouthpiece (E13):

The FG700S is one of Yamaha's best selling models, and when you sit down and play one, it's easy to see why. It's a full-sounding, very comfortable guitar, with a dreadnought shape that's slightly altered, making it easy to reach over the body for younger or more petite players. The neck is very smooth and easy to play - no problem with sharp frets! If you need a guitar for around the house, or a new guitar for a beginner or veteran, this is a great guitar to pick up.

Yamaha student instruments have long been known for high quality and ease of play. This guitar is a standout for its solid top, sealed tuning gears and overall quality of materials and construction. The FG700S is my go-to guitar for students and first-time buyers, as it offers an outstanding value at a very reasonable price.

I was really surprised with this guitar actually. It is priced as a beginner guitar, but it sounds like a new Taylor! This is probably the best beginner acoustic guitar on the market. When someone is starting an instrument, the better it sounds, the more apt they are to enjoy it and stick with it. I've been playing guitar for about 10 years and I would definitely still pick up this guitar and play it. The action is perfect and the intonation is great and maintenance is very easy! Yamaha acoustic guitars have definitely come a long way over the years! Don't sell them short; give them a try. You will not regret it.

Comments about Marcinkiewicz Chuck Findley Trumpet Mouthpiece (E13):

For the price, this guitar offers quite a lot. It has a good tone for a lower-end guitar which is hard to come by. The bottom end is rich and full-bodied, and the higher end has a good shimmery sound and is not too brittle. For a beginner this guitar is an excellent choice for it's solid construction and good tone. It's biggest asset in my opinion is the feel of the neck which is smooth and easy to play and move around on. This offers exceptional playability and ease moving around the fret board.
