Marcus Miller’s career has spanned 5 decades and is condiered to be one of the world’s preeminent virtuoso bassists. The Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass recreates his signature bass to the exact artist specs, featuring an ash body with the legendary offset waist design and ‘comfort contour’ that was way ahead of its time. The body is outfitted with a pair of Vintage-style Jazz Bass pickups that deliver those clear, punchy, Jazz Bass tones that were the driving force behind an endless list of bands throughout the decades. The electronics are augmented by a 2-band active EQ for expanded tonal versatility. An oversize 3-ply black pickguard recreates Marcus Miller’s custom modifications and adds an old school vibe to this modern day classic.
The Marcus Miller Jazz Bass is equipped with the familiar slim-tapered “C” shaped maple neck with a vintage-style 7.25" radius to maximize comfort and playability. The fingerboard is topped off with pearl block inlays and white binding to capture the 70’s vibe of Marcus’ trademark bass. Chrome hardware includes a Badass Bass II bridge and three-bolt neck plate, and open gear tuners. Deluxe gig bag included.
