Featuring a solid maple top on a mahogany body, giving players the familiar tonewood combination to produce that classic Les Paul sound. Available in four classic satin finishes: Gold Top, Cherry, Silverburst, and Vintage Sunburst all tap into that 70’s mojo. A satin finish gives this Les Paul Studio the feel of a well-played vintage guitar. The fast, slim-tapered mahogany neck will feel great in your hands, while the instrument’s unbound body and neck are consistent with the popular Les Paul Studio line, with a sleek, no-nonsense look.
The Les Paul Studio 70s Tribute boasts a pair of newly redesigned mini-humbucking pickups delivering that powerful growling tone that you’ve come to expect from a Les Paul. The mini-humbucker is heavily associated with the Les Paul Deluxe model that came into prominence in the early 1970’s. The redesigned mini-humbucker features a new magnet and pole piece configuration featuring dual steel blades and single Alnico V magnet, which will deliver higher output than previous mini humbucking pickups, yet still retains a vintage voice with plenty of chime. This latter day classic also boasts a chrome Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece for maximum sustain and vintage-style Kluson machine heads provide tuning stability. A protective black Gibson gigbag is included.
