The Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Special delivers timeless tone, vintage style and feel at a very affordable price.
One look at this Telcaster Special and you’ll see that it lives up to its "modified" moniker. The unique electronics configuration features a pair of designed by Seymour Duncan. A TE-101B Telecaster single-coil bridge pickup and Duncan Designed JM-101N single-coil Jazzmaster neck pickup with alnico 5 magnets, along with a three-way pickup switch provide a unique blend of iconic Fender tones. A single-ply black pickguard completes the Vintage Modified Telecaster Special’s retro look. The Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Special sports a basswood body and is available in two classic see-through finishes: White Blonde and Butterscotch Blonde.The Vintage Modified Telecaster Special sports a Jazzmaster style vintage-tint maple neck that is also equipped with the modern features that today’s players demand. The maple fingerboard boasts a flatter radius of 9.5" with 21 medium-jumbo frets which makes for effortless, clean string bending. Chrome hardware includes knurled chrome flat-top control knobs, vintage-style string-through-body bridge with three brass barrel saddles, vintage-style chrome tuners, and engraved neck plate. Case not included.
