The Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose Electric Guitar stays true to many of the original specs that put the Strat on the map in 1954. This Stratocaster features an alder body with the legendary ‘comfort contour’ design that was way ahead of its time. This Stratocaster offers a slight departure from the traditional 3 single-coil pickup schematic by adding a high output Fender Humbucker in the bridge position.
You still get those clear, bell-like, bright Strat tones that were the driving force behind an endless list of guitar legends, but you also get the added option of a scorching bridge humbucker that will meet the demands of the modern hard rock players. A parchment colored pickguard adds an old school vibe to this modern day classic.
The Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose Electric Guitar features a maple neck with a 70s-style headstock logo. The maple neck also sports a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets on a slightly flatter 9.5” fingerboard radius. The flatter radius facilitates easier, cleaner string bending and faster action. A Floyd Rose-licensed locking tremolo adds tuning stability and will withstand even the most aggressive soloing. Available in Lake Placid Blue, Black, Candy Apple Red, Brown Sunburst, Midnight Wine and Arctic White. Case not included.
