NU Bells are a NEW line of aggressively loud, 4-sided bells for mounting independently or ‘upside down’ above cymbals, they are available from Sam Ash Direct in 5”, 6” and 8” sizes!
Nu™ Bells differ from traditionally shaped bells and are four-sided. The four-sided feature creates multiple fundamentals that add a wild, edgy sound. If mounted atop a larger cymbal, the four sides also allow for easier access to the main cymbal cup below it, when the NU Bell is mounted upside-down.
The Nu Bells also feature rake-able microcups hammered into the bronze These unique and original features together create a very distinctive percussion instrument that a wild array of sounds can be pulled from.

About HAMMERAX
After years building musical instruments and founding Om Percussion, well known for their bar chimes, in 1993 John Stannard began hammering bronze. On the island of Bali he studied forging in the fire pits. The education was more spiritual than intellectual.
