The Big Band Jazz model features a reverse tapered butt-end (smaller at the end than in the middle of the stick) that provides a comfortable feel and distinctive balance, giving extra "swing" to the stick.
The elongated oval bead provides a dark and full Ride cymbal tones and full drum sounds. The full size of the stick provides enough heft to drive a big band while the long taper provides a great deal of sensitivity.
