The world’s finest French horn just got better; the H105 replaces Holton’s previous H104 flagship model. The pursuit of perfection has created a new-generation French horn known for its performance and superb intonation. The Holton H105’s technological and acoustical flexibility enables the artist to perform accurately in a wide range of performance situations. Its two interchangeable mouthpipes with newly developed tapers make it easy to switch between work in small chamber ensembles and large symphony orchestras. The small-venturi mouthpipe is more focused for chamber orchestra and high-register work. The large-venturi mouthpipe is more free-blowing, creating an excellent orchestral horn. The specially tempered red brass bell produces a rich, dark sound capable of great volume without getting brassy.
