Pioneer EFX1000 DJ Performance Effect Processor

Soup up your next set the next time you spin. The DJM-1000 is actually two completely independent 32 bit effect units in one; the left side features BPM-synced effects like Delay, Pitch, Transform Mod, Flange, Filter, Phase, while the right one features manual jog wheel controlled effects like Jet, Wah, Ring Mod, Zip, Vocoder, and Humanizer. For the first time in the industry, the EFX-1000 enables DJs to beat match in sync with a pre-programmed rhythm. Additionally the EFX-1000 will measure beats per minute and beat match in sync with the tempo of the music. DJs can select multiple frequency ranges (High, Mid, Low), vastly improving the musical expression compared with existing full-range effectors.

Syncing effects to BPM on the left is no problem at all with the large Tap Tempo button and beat divider keys. It even remembers which delay setting each effect is set to during a session so it’s easy recall them. The unit has a BPM counter that puts the effects in tempo when in Auto mode.

On the right side, the manually controlled effects are simple to tweak - just select the effect and spin the wheel! Use the Vocoder to sparkle things up a a bit, or give your beats more groove with the Humanizer. Make your CD sound like a stopping record with the cool Zip effect.

The EFX-1000 has a wealth of options for connections, with either balanced 1/4" or unbalanced RCA analog connections as well as a S/PDIF in and out. It also has MIDI connections for controlling external devices as well as Pioneer's EFX Link for direct hookup with their powerful DJM-1000 mixer. You can even hook up a footswitch (sold separately) to give yourself further control. The MIDI output can even send MIDI clock based on your tempo tap, making it ideal to control your laptop's tempo functions and incorporate it into your performance.
