The Fender Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster is classic Jazzmaster gestalt, Youth-fully stripped down and hot rodded right through the roof. Special features of the Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster include two new Fender Wide Range humbucking pickups re-voiced to original vintage spec, black anodized pickguard, American Vintage Jazzmaster tremolo with Mustang bridge and tremolo lock button, single master volume control, and a Sapphire Blue Transparent satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and black-painted headstock. Jazzmaster guitars slung across the seminal shoulders of Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo... In the hands of both men, the sound of Sonic Youth is the sound of that guitar used as part paintbrush and part cluster bomb. If anybody ought to have signature Jazzmaster models, it’s those two guys. Includes standard black hardshell case, strap and cable plus a Sonic Youth ’zine and sticker sheet.
