The Ibanez EP10B Steve Vai Acoustic Electric Guitar is a small bodied instrument that delivers big sound, whether amplified or played straight acoustic. Players who are more accustomed to playing solid body electrics (as Steve Vai is legendary for) will love the comfort and ease of playability of the EP10B. This beauty starts with an Englemann Spruce top, which is finished in an elegant high gloss black pearl. The Black Pearl finish is complimented beautifully by abalone inlays along the top edges. The back, sides and neck are all carved from solid mahogany. The 24 fret neck is adorned with a ‘tree of life’ inlay pattern and the cutaway body design allows for easy access to the upper frets for that little extra you need when soloing.
The Ibanez EP10B Euphoria can be amplified through the onboard Fishman® Matrix™ Undersaddle Pickup that features the amazing AURA® Image Casting (IC) Technology, which was designed especially for thin bodies. The system comes with four Aura® IC presets created specifically for Steve. Each image was based on sound samples using a full body guitar. The pickup is fitted under the saddle and helps preserve both the aesthetic and structural integrity of the guitar. The Ibanez EP10B is an extremely versatile guitar that is perfect for the stage or home use. Case not included.
