The Kramer Assault 220 220 Plus EMG sports a single cutaway mahogany body. A maple top compliments the mahogany body for that that classic tonewood combination. The 220 Plus EMG is a no-nonsense axe that would be a perfect fit any metal arsenal. Finished in a metal approved gloss black, you’ll know this metal machine means business.
The Assault 220 Plus is powered by a pair of active EMG 85 (neck) and 81 (bridge) humbucking pickups that deliver well-balanced tone with tight bass, glassy mids and crunching highs, and three-way pickup switching.
The set-in mahogany 25.5"-scale neck has been carved into an ultra-fast Slim-taper profile and topped with 24 Jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard for extremely fast playability and effortless string-bending. Finally, the black hardware includes a set of die-cast tuners; along with a Tune-o-Matic style bridge and sustain enhancing string thru body contruction that will keep you in tune, and withstand even the most aggressive soloing.
