This snare drum is a great example of what the S.L.P. series is all about. Each part of this drum is expertly designed to help give you the perfect sound. The 8-ply, 7mm maple hardwood shell is warm, full bodied, and extremely resonant while the Sound Arc Hoops give it a wide open sound, and a well-defined crack. This makes side sticking as clear as a bell, and gives your rim shots a shotgun like blast to them. The combination of the Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy Snares, and Linear-Drive Snare Throw-off deliver stable and precise snare tension every time. Both the throw-off and butt plate are fully adjustable, and come equipped with a ratchet system that prevents either one of them from coming loose during a performance.This drum is finished in a beautiful Antique Maple lacquer. This gives it a classic, timeless look that is sure to be just as stunning in twenty years as it is now. It also come equipped with 10 vintage style, dual-ended brass tube lugs that are both functional and decorative.
