You even get FREE Edit & Share and Steinberg Cubase LE recording software to use with the built in USB audio interface. Remarkably, the Zoom G5 is incredibly intuitive and easy to use.
123 STOMPBOX EFFECTS IN ANY ORDER; 297 PATCHES
As a multi-effect pedal the Zoom G5 includes over 100 stompbox effects, including some of the world's most popular and virtually every effect you could ever want. 20 of these effects are specifically designed to take advantage of the 3D control of the Zoom G5 integrated foot pedal. You can use up to 9 effects simultaneously and in any order. Store up to 297 original tones (99 in 3 banks). Get the control that comes from choosing the order of stomboxes in your effects loop. After all, as anyone who has worked with a professional pedal board can tell you, there is a real tonal difference when you change the order of your stompboxes. The Zoom G5 is like having a whole store worth of effects units in your rig, without the extra weight or cost.
The Zoom G5 effects include multiple varieties of distortion, chorus, tremolo, phasers, flangers, wah wah, pitch shifters, compressors, reverbs, ring modulators, organ simulators, rotary speaker effects, envelope filters, eq, acoustic guitar simulators, slicers, synthesizers, delays, and echos. Many of the effects are simulations of classic pedals such as Big Muff, and Crybaby Wahs.
ZOOM AMP AND CABINET MODELING
The Zoom G5 gives you 20 super-real amp models ranging from traditional vintage sounds to cutting edge high-tech tones. Some of the amps modeled include a 1965 Fender Twin Reverb, Mesa Boogie MKIII, Matchless DC-30, Marshall 1959, Orange Graphic 120, and JCM2000 Marshall stack just to name a few. With the option to select different amps with different speaker cabinets, you can design your own custom rig. The Zoom G5’s low-noise modeling technology makes this a perfect tool for recording as well as a versatile live-performance tone-enhancer.
REAL TUBE SOUND FROM A REAL 12AX7 TUBE
The G5 features the Zoom Tube Booster with the warmth of a real 12AX7 tube. The Zoom Tube Booster lets you add sudden power and intensity to your performance, particularly when soloing. While the Zoom G5 Boost control can add up to 16dB of amp overdrive, the Tone knob lets you control the EQ of your sounds with the added volume. The Tube Booster also offers extra power when recording directly to a line input.
60 SECONDS OF LOOPING; 40 PATTERN DRUM MACHINE; AND MORE!
Additional features include a looping function which allows 60 seconds of phrase recording and overdubbing. A built-in drum machine allows you to create a “full band” effect which can be used for practice or live performance. Finally, the G5 operates as an audio interface, letting you record directly to your computer via USB. The whole package has a super-low noise design, supplemented by ZNR noise reduction, so the Zoom G5 is ideal for serious recording.
