The Zoom G3X features an expression pedal built right into the console. You can control wah-wahs, pitch shifters, volume, drive gain, modulation rate, dry/wet blend, and more. The G3X features an Auto Assign function that enables the expression pedal as soon as you choose an effect, so you can start playing without any hassle and it's easy to re-assign if you like. This unit is jam packed with 94 stompbox effects to choose from and switch at will. Choose from the world’s most popular effects boxes and use up to nine effects in any combination.

Additional features include a looping function which allows 40 seconds of phrase recording and overdubbing. A built-in drum machine allows you to create a “full band” effect which can be used for practice or live performance.
